April Meeting planned

We will be having the April meeting on Tuesday, April 13th at Fairview View in Ortonville. we will be meeting in the community room. I am hoping we can get more people to show up for the monthly meetings - there is so much that needs to be done before the walk!

The March meeting was a great success. The group wasn't large, but we had an amazing spread of food at our potluck, and we shared a wonderful supper! Although the weather wasn't great, and the fog was dense our speaker made it all the way from Minneapolis! Prostate cancer is no laughing matter obviously, but he did inject enough medical humor into his speech that it was easy to stay engaged! He and his medical group are very active in current research of prostate and bladder cancers, and I am sure they will put the donation we made to them to good use!

I hope to see you all on April 13th so we can begin planning a record breaking event!

Also, did you know that bladder cancer is the 4th most common cancer among men, and the 11th most common cancer in women?
